Default Which 3 would you want?

I can have 3 of the following players:

    Liles
    Kaberle
    Mcbain
    Markov
    Foster
    Gonchar

    Count G, A, SOG and +/-.

    Who would you want?

I personally would keep Kaberle (even though he had a bad playoffs he still can put up 45 points), Markov - just a gut feeling that he will have a comeback year and Liles (because he is likely going to be on the No#1 PP unit).

I'm torn with McBain but I don't see him putting up 40 points this year or next. Pitkanen and Kaberle are signed to long term deals so he'll see less PP time.
    16 Team Limited Keeper:
    LW - D. Sedin, Hall
    C - Malkin, Staal
    RW - Perry, Giroux, Toffoli
D - Weber, Carlson, Ekman Larsson
    G -Bishop

Liles (Toronto wants to milk him for all he's worth this year)
Kaberle (heavy signing- still on top PP pairing, will drop McBain to 2nd PP unit)
Markov (will hit a home run or strike out early in the season, but impact for sure)

I'd be taking Liles, Kaberle and Markov as well.

My only concern is Liles' +/-. Hopefully he's productive in TOR when he's EVS as well, otherwise I can see him having a hefty enough minus.

If it were a dynasty league, then I would consider McBain over Kaberle as the point differential shouldn't be too large and he is much younger.

Markov - the best player of these and the highest upside for next year
    McBain - I'm a believer
Kaberle - since you wanted three players Kaberle makes this list

Liles is too streaky and will have an ugly +/-.

Liles is the only 100% guy on that list, IMO.

Liles managed to play 20 minutes a game last year, I believe for the first time. He's the new Joe Corvo. Thus, I hestitate to be a fan. Two years ago, he spent time sitting in the stands. (for that matter three years ago Ehrhoff spent time in the stands and he's worth about $100M these days).

So... how does Liles peck in in Toronto? A town with an average hockey team. A team that spends too much time in their own end? His specialty starts about 70' in front of Reimer/Monster/etc. He and Franson are both more than a little suspect defensively. We'll see how this experiment in Leafland works out.

Markov. You've got to think 40 is safe. 50 is probable. Cross your fingers for 60. Cross your fingers that he bounces back smoothly after an incredible long layoff.

Kaberle. No reason he doesn't transition smoothly to a low stress market place.

McBain. 30 points last year. Anticipate 35 for this coming year. He's shown the steady progression the 'Canes are looking for.

I would have to keep McBain. I'd probably keep Liles (based on trade value more than being a fan). I get crossed up deciding between the two old boys. A lot of people are afraid of Markov.

How much have you watched Liles? Comparing him to Corvo is an absolute joke. They are nothing alike and Liles is 10 times the player that Corvo is.

You say the Leafs are a mediocre team...did you not watch the Avalanche last year? They were the 2nd worst team in the league and Liles still had a superb fantasy season.

    Give your head a shake.

Have some respect man. Opinions are opinions and JHM has been around a lot longer than you.

Anyways, A mixed bag of responses by essentailly the majority think Markov is a yes, Kaberle a yes then it's a toss up between Liles and McBain?
