Rinne vs Niemi (trade option)
Curious what the collective view is. Rinne is the better goalie however Niemi has the better team behind him. Dobber's valuation seems to be about 74 pts (2 per W, + 3 per SO) for Niemi and 86 for Rinne. Last season with Niemi getting all the starts they ended up about the same.
Any feeling this could repeat this year?
I'm asking as I have a potential trade for my Rinne and a 1st rounder next year for Niemi and J Williams. Looking at a title shot this year and this could help.
After this year I'm wondering if this might be a good move as Niemi is signed where Rinne will have a new more expensive contract.
Thoughts on all of this?

Personally I feel Rinne will have a higher Ceiling, has more skill and a longer life line in net...
Niemi is consistantly inconsistant. You know hes gonna be decent, not amazing, but from game to game he goes from lights out to awkward... One pattern im seeing forming in 3 years in North America is he starts out rough and then comes on after the Allstar break.
From a Niemi owner... keep Rinne... and if you wanna get better use that 1st Rd pick on something better than Justin Williams if possible later in the season.

It's a 30 team points only league, 2pt win + 3 per SO, no GAA to worry about.
Yeah keep rinne. I can see In your league how they might be more equal in value but the rest of the deal is crap. A 1st rounder for j. Williams. Seems as if the other gm thinks neimi is better than rinne here. You lose out in this deal mainly bc of the second piece. And I still rinne valued much higher. If anything it should be him giving a 1st and neimi to get rinne
