Definitely keep Havlat, as I consider him more valuable than Plek and you have the room in your starting lineup.
Between Kaberle and Campbell keep Kaberle.
the rules to my pool are as follows.....
20 starting players ....12 reserve
20 protected players
12 f
6 d
2 g
straight points
there are a few players that im thinking of keeping or letting go
of the ones that i definitely want to keep:
ovechkin
kovalchuk
E staal
kopitar
toews
kessel
st loius
marleau
plekanec
green
yandle
karlsson
carlson
J johnson
hedman
luongo
rinne
bryzgalov
so im left with 2 more spots to fill, i do have gonchar and he has been great for me over the years but im not sure what to expect now....i have kaberle and Brian campbell and i think one of them will be kept but who....i also have havlat and am intrigued with him playing in sanjose this year as he has never played on such a talented team before.....i have paajarvi but i dont know about him because every year there are a slew of young prospects to go after.....so it really comes to to who would be better for me to protect....2 of the 3...kaberle, campbell and havlat

well if i let plek go and keep havlat then keep kaberle...i still have one spot open
A couple of more thoughts looking at your team:
-Definitely keep Kaberle and Havlat.
-If you are in a choice between Plekanec and Campbell, I think you have to go with Pleks. You already have 7 Dmen kept (and you start 6) but only 10 forwards (and you start 12).
-I would even consider keeping Campbell over Hedman, or even get something for Hedman in a trade. Campbell will definitely get you more points over the next 2 seasons.
Cheers.
Hahaha, looks like bondon and I were on the same page.......
Between Kaberle and Campbell, I'd choose Kaberle as well. He should be a lot better in Carolina than in Boston/Toronto.

I was flirting with this idea as well Molson...but its so frickin hard to peg FLA players right now.
Its definitely something worth considering. I would hate to make this move though and have FLA continue to be a basement offensive team and have Hedman improve his numbers though. Tough call.

Kaberle for sure, I'm sorry but I can't pick a guy like Campell for a few reasons.
1. He plays for the Florida Panthers
2. He's past his prime
3. Kulikov, if anyone will be the offensive contributor on that team.
Meanwhile Kaberle should be on the number one PP unit with either McBain or Pitkanen. No brainer :P

the only reason why i think its useful to keep 8 d is because when you have to play six its pretty hard in our pool to put out 6 competitive defensemen...so starting with 8 comes in handy....but havlat this year is complicating matters......and on the other hand campbell maybe be past his prime but he still looks like he can post over 40 if he is the guy there, given he stays healthy....and its not like havlat is a lock to stay healthy either......ahhhhhh this is tuff..lol
welcome to fantasy hockey...lol
