Just had his appendix removed and is out 2-3 weeks so he will miss the all-star game as well. Avs injuries this year have been ridiculous. Hensick has been called up and may actually get some good minutes on scoring lines with Sakic, Smyth and Staz out for a while now. Just for whomever is wondering....

Hensick led the NCAA last year with most assists/game, he averaged over 1 per so he is a nice playmaker. Svatos has been scoring lately and might be able to produce with Hensick. Brunette, Hejduk,Wolski,Svatos,Hensick, and Arnason/Hlinka I would think would be the top 6. Depends how Quenneville wants to bring along Hensick.
