We keep 15 and I have 18 guys that I'd ideally like to keep, including 5 D. I also have no 1st round picks so I was thinking of trying to swap one of these D for a 1st round pick. How would you rank them in my keeper format?

Take a chance on Markov. I mean he just signed a 3 year 17 million contract with Montreal. He played like 10 games last year, and only half the year before that. Do you really think Montreal is going to sign him to a 6 million a year contract for 3 years if they think he will be injured at all?
If you look at his stats before that he is clearly better than the rest. In fact I would put him above Subban, but give him the edge in youth, and the fact that Markov has had some injuries.
EJ is garbage. The fact that he is now on Colorado just makes it worse.

I agree! If you can move Markov based on past performance, he's the one to ship out. I wouldn't trust him for 60 games...

I think the fact that St.Louis seemed to decide EJ was expeneable because of Pieterangelo development indicates to me that The Blues didn't feel that he was going to develop in to the player they drafted him to be. Even the great Peter Stastny declared the Avs ruined their team when they made the for EJ.
