Team Available in competitive keeper league

We had a vacancy open up in our league this off-season so I'd like to see if anyone was interested in joining. Its a great league, very competitive, lots of activity and with a really great group of GMs. We're entering our 3rd season this year so we've got all the kinks worked out of the rules now and we've got a core of GMs who are very serious about their fantasy hockey so I'm very pleased to be able to Commish such a fine league.

Please send me a PM with your email if you are interested and I will send you the full league rules. A few things to note first though:

1)We want a seasoned fantasy hockey vet for the position, if we were to introduce a noob to this group it would be a feeding frenzy and I don't want to do that to either the new GM or to the league
2)Preference will be given to folks I know from these forums and folks who come recommended from those folks

-each year keep 17 Pro and all Farm
-farm elgible skaters are 200GP or less, goalies are 100 GP or less

I'm really happy with the way the league has turned out, we had some growing pains the first 2 seasons, had a couple GMs who weren't setting their rosters or responding to emails, etc but we managed to get rid of them and replaced with quality active GMs. This last vacancy was for an otherwise great GM who had to leave for personal reasons and was kind enough to give us a heads up at season end last year.

Yes sorry I forgot to mention that...its H2H with weighted cats. Top 6 goto the playoffs which is the last 3 weeks of the season

OK so sadly I need to fill another vacancy in this league that just came up. Basically the GM is going to be completely absorbed with school and other stuff this year and he just won't have the requisite time to dedicate to the league so he's graciously stepped down.

His team is the defending champion so its as good as it gets if you want to join on to a league with a team that compete immediately PM me immediately if you are interested because I usually get a lot of responses.

1)entry fee is $50 + $2 (PayPal fees) + $5 (Fantrax Premium Features) = $57
2)Draft date not yet set, we're in the process of finding a day that works for everyone...it will be in Sept though
2)This is a really competitive league and I've worked really hard to get good GMs with high hockey IQs so sadly I can't add someone I don't really know. But if you are a regular on these forums with good knowledge of fantasy hockey please be sure to apply.

oh and I almost forgot to mention how the league is managed because I think that's a really important feature of any good league...in short its a complete democracy, all league decisions are decided as a collective by our GMs thru league vote and discussions. You can think of it kind of like judge and jury...as commish my sole job is to make sure the rules of the league are upheld and to provide the structure necessary for the league, the actual decisions are made by the jury of GMs
