Clowe and Kreider (definitely over Beach) make this deal worthwhile.
    Well done.

I definitely like the Clowe/Kreider side of things.

One in the hand versus one in the bush.

Clowe - what you see is what you get. He's doing it now and in a safe spot. You know he's going to get prominence. Cripes, they even dumped Seto. Turns 29 at training camp. You know he's going to miss 5-10 games annually. Big & strong. Nice PM. A safe winger on a big line.

Kreider - long term. Did nicely on Future Watch. Dobber has him rated very nicely. Rangers need some good kids to start making the step up. Points totals were underwhelming this year.

Beach - a longer term project, but he did produce some solid numbers in his final year of Junior. Chicago's constant rebuilding should create opportunity for him. Reasonable AHL rookie season just completed. More interesting in pools that give points for PM.

Oshie - Did similar points pace to Clowe last year. We still wonder about another gear though. Still just 24 years old. Does he find another level? One has to wonder that he's not shown us the top of the ice burg just yet. Great situation for him.

Would I do it? A definite maybe. If you're interested, push to see if you can get the prospect upgraded or a nice pick instead. The pools I'm in, Beach/Kreider are nice, but not to die for. Should Oshie bust for 65 points this year, how do you feel about the deal? Essentially, you're considering giving up the upper window for one of these kids. Clowe does give a wonderful steadiness. Is he a 55 guy or a 62 guy or a 66 guy?

    Listen to your heart.

    go with Clowe and Kreider.
You know what you are getting in Clowe and in Kreider you have some future upside.
You end up gaining a good prospect.

Anyways sorry about the minor side track. I'd take the Clowe side of the trade.
