Who would you rather have in a dynasty league??

My centers are Richards, Richards, Kesler, soon to be Hopkins and Bailey.

My LW's are Vanek, Morrow, Mcdonald, Penner

I think Zett would help my LW, and he should outscore Richards the next couple years at least IMO.

Also, will Hopkins play in the NHL this year?? I'm not sure and I'd like to know what people think bec. it would help me decide with other deals. Thanks.

Zetts should outscore M Richards for the next 2-3 years is my guess.

Hopkins is about 50/50. He's still a bit lean but edmonton doesn't mind just throwing them in the mix. He'll be elite no matter what and is worth burning a roster spot if you have to drop somone.

What's the format? this would help others answer. Points only?

    Zetts, basically for two reasons.

    1) LW. That you have to give up age to secure the LW, DO IT. Dominant LW are much rarer than dominant C. Over time, you may be able to wiggle Zetts to a younger high end version. It's much easier to acquire a dominant winger, with a dominant winger.

    2) Zetts does it (92, 73, 70, 80). The proverbial one in the hand, versus the two in the bush. He turns 31 at the start of the season. As long as his back remains healthy, there's every reason to think that there are many more productive seasons. I'd mark him in for 75-80 for the coming season.

Now, if Richards was a LW, I suspect I'd keep him. Richards has been good (75, 80, 62, 66), but with a small level of disappointment. Now 26 years old, we must temper our expectations towards him finding significant new high levels. He pencils in for 70-75 for the coming season.

Zetts for sure, LWs are much harder to get and Zetts is top notch in any format. Also proven where he is year after year, who knows what may occur with RIchards.

the big question is does zet still get lw next season? That's risky when it comes to yahoo. Also zett comes with injury risk. With his back he is bound to miss a few games each season.

    Zetterberg>> Richards for points only.

Richards is still 2nd line center on a LA team that may or may not score more than the previous Flyer Teams he was on. Richards numbers will not likely go up. Zetts is still a PPG player for the forseeable future.
