YES - My Markstrom for his Strome & D Brown
***I like Strome's future in NYI and D. Brown is a multi-cat stud

YES - My Markstrom for his Strome & JVR
***I prefer JVR with Carter/Richards gone I'm expecting big things from him next year and prefer him over D. Brown

YES - My Markstrom & Carlson for his Strome & Letang
***I think Markstrom straight up for Strome is a pretty fair deal for both sides and I prefer Letang over Carlson...however this is my least preferred trade of the bunch.

YES - My Tokarski for His Strome
    ***This is ridiculous

Having said all of that my preferred trade is where you land Strome/JVR. Without having a look at your team or scoring cats I think that those two guys have an immense ceiling and I think they will both hit it (unlike Markstrom) who I think is grossly overrated.

I say take any of hte deals and rank them:

    1. JVR/Strome
    2. Brown/Strome
    3. Strome (for your Tokarski)
    4. D swap...
    10-team Auction League, $160 team salary, weekly H2H, start: 6F, 4D, 1G and 5 Bench

    Scoring structure: (F : 1pt G / 1pt A / 0.15pts SOG / 0.15pts Hits / 0.15pts BlkS), (G : 5 pts W / 3 pts SO / 0.01 pts Saves)

    Forwards : Ovechkin ($43), Kessel ($20), Benn ($7), Spezza ($13), Brown ($7), Marchand ($13), Landeskog ($3), Elias ($1), Plekanec ($1),

    Defenses : Letang ($26), Visnovsky ($1), Bieksa ($1), Faulk ($2) Ehrhoff ($2)

    Goalies : Holtby ($7), Nabokov ($2)

If you can swap Berglund or better yet Zajac for a decent G prospect like Lack, Lehner, etc then I like the JVR deal - you need some LW depth and Markstrom will be a little while and you are pretty much covered in goal for some time to come. Tokarski for Strome is alright.

Ya, this is still the best offer.

With the team you have, why on earth would you consider trading away Markstrom? How good do you think Strome will be? I think his upside is less than Malkin, Kopitar, Duchene, Tatar, Gerbe and perhaps Nyquist too. He may outpoint McKegg, but maybe not either. Both Giroux and Benn will probably end up slotting full time at C in another year or 2, and Strome's upside is likely behind theirs as well.

In other words, you don't need Strome at all. Stud G prospects are rare, especially one of Markstrom's calibre.

The only trade I would do is Tokarski for Strome and even then, you still don't need Strome at all.

38% of your cats go to goalies...Markstrom is a blue chip tender so treat him as such. All those deals have potential but if goalies are as highly valued in your league as it seems they are then maybe you can do better still?

But with it being a 12 team league, how much value do goalies actually have despite the weighted scoring cats? I Only ask because im in a 12 team league(albeit not h2h) and goalies dont hold much value due to there being enough for 2starters plus per team. Goalie prospects are even less valuable. Every league is different obviously, so im just playing devils advocate here.
F: P. Kane, Oshie, N. Foligno, Thorton, Coyle, Marleau, Pavelski, Dubinsky
    Steen
    D: seabrooke, Subban,wizniewski,garrison, Carle
    G: Niemi, Fleury,

    G/A-1 pt PIM- .25pts
    Win-2pts Shutouts- 5pts(2+3)
    Keep 10. Top 13 count (4 d, 1 g, 6 Frwd and next highest-any position)

Goalies hold a lot of value in our league. 8-5 split in H2H with 2 players carrying most of the load. The guys with crap starters always finish last. I passed on dealing Markstrom and let the guy draft Strome. Might end up biting me but I like the way Florida has aggressively attacked the market and with Vokoun possibly leaving, Markstrom seems close.

Thanks to everyone for the input, it was invaluable.
