Team DY is reuniting the US U-18 duo and selecting Grimaldi's sniper....

I really wanted Boucher as my last pick - even had his write up.
So I'm going to go with project
Mario Lucia
Left Winger

Team DY is filling out his final forward spot with a nifty player (who a certain senators' fan feels doesn't get enough respect ). At this spot, he is a steal ....

Just because I can...
Jamieson Oleksiak

Northeastern University, NCAA
With our final pick, Team DY is proud to select an offensive defenseman who is flying under the radar after posting an astounding 81 points in 64 games.....

Thanks to my buddy Gates for participating in this H2H Fantasy related draft for 2011 eligible NHL prospects.
There was some fantastic banter between both of us (off-boards) as each of us stole the other's pick several times. At times, I swear that Gates was using my list. In the end, we both end up with fantastic teams.
I had a blast picking players who ooze pure skill and have a ton of potential in leagues honouring a straight points format.
Thanks.
Thoughts and comments are welcomed.

That was really awesome Brendan, good times.
I will be adding some thoughts later on!
Only skimmed through quick but gotta admit I like Dean's team more.
... and I would expect nothing less from our Scouting Bureau!
For me, this is exciting because I tend not to hold on to draft picks in dynasty leagues. It will also be great to come back to this H2H a few seasons down the road.
I'll be adding my draft journal to the July Exclusive (if not this weekend)
Early full-team preview
Sven Bartschi - Ryan Nugent-Hopkins - Gabriel Landeskog
Brandon Saad - Ryan Strome - Ty Rattie
Matt Puempel - Mark McNeill - Vladislav Namestnikov
Mario Lucia - Mark Scheifele - Michael St. Croix
Adam Larsson - Oscar Klefbom
Duncan Siemens - Adam Clendening
Myles Bell - Jamieson Oleksiak
Solid looking team.
I actually like GMGates' team better from a "real-life" standpoint as I feel his team carries less risk but from a pure offensive standpoint, I am thrilled with my roster (especially my defense). I was happy to get Huberdeau, Grimaldi, Kucherov, Jurco, Khokhlachev and Jensen (to name a few).
Huberdeau - Couturier - Armia
Jurco - Grimaldi - Kucherov
Khokhlachev - Zibanejad - Jensen
Boucher - Prince - Phillips
Murphy - Beaulieu
Sproul - Hamilton
Morrow - Kichton
I probably should have took Connor Murphy but I wanted to promote my article on Kichton and the possibility that he becomes a stellar offensive weapon
Only one way to settle this...NHL 2011 Sim!
