Even if he does win in game 7....congrats on winning with hands down the best team in the tournament (Canadian Olympic Team and 10-11 Canucks). Yes he will say 'well I won both so nobody can take that away from me', but the reality is he could not possibly win either without a tremendous squad in front of him. He does steal games the odd time, but he often single handedly loses them.

I own(ed) him aswell. Played lights out during the finals of my keeper league and helped me win the championship. Didn't stop me from flipping him for Lundqvist a while ago though. Vancouver has a blueline full of UFA's and Luongo has a contract set for the rest of his career. Whatever, as far as I'm concerned the media is blowing this crap way out of proportion. Everyone gets pissed off when players serve out cliches (i.e. Crosby/Toews) and when a player actually says something that deviates from the standard "Oh yeah he was great he battled hard" everyone loses their sh*t. Everyone's just freaking out because its Luongo (who everybody hates), saying something about Thomas (who everybody loves).
Yes I agree Luongo SHOULD have kept his mouth shut, but Luongo is known for being very no-nonsense no-bs during his interviews. He simply doesn't have the patience for it. You don't believe me, watch some of his post-games. Dude looks like he has ADHD.
What i will say is Luongo definitely should have brought his sh*t after saying that, and he sure didn't. He knows that, and if he didn't then the classy crowd at Boston Gardens definitely made sure he did.
And yeah Rrabbit not a bad deal at all I wouldn't regret it if I were you.

Luongo has a well-earned reputation for being one of the best goalies in the world... he also has a well-earned reputation for being a goalie who couldn't win a game when the pressure is on. Everyone can say how he is going to come out and blank the Bruins in game 7; personally, I see it being a great game and very close... If it goes to overtime, I would not be surprised.

Haha, I was simply providing you with what I assumed was the smack talk mister_magoo was referring to when you asked. I even included that part about Thomas making saves Luongo couldn't in my quote. Wasn't really trying to make a statement one way or the other, just wanted to help you out. You are welcome though.
