a few questions on netminders..

how many starts will Quick get next year? will Bernier begin to unseat him, or will one of them be moved? are both good enough to be bonafide number 1s? what are the chances we see Quick put up another 40 win season?

whats Schneider's deal? are they going to move him?

same thing with Thomas/Rask... how will that unfold next year?

you might be better off searching the goalie forums on dobber or just typing in some of these names as there are TONS of stuff about these guys.

but i am bored so here goes:

1. quick will repeat last yrs #s if not better. he is the number one guy and they can talk all they want about giving bernier more time. quick is young, proven and cheap. look for one to be traded.

2. Schneider - NO IDEA. talk for the last 3 seasons of him being traded but then injury after injury and not given the time means no trade yet for this guy. this offseason seems to be more likely but who knows.

3. same with quick. thomas will get the chunk of starts espcially if he wins the cup. look for a 60/40 split as thomas is at the end of his contract and loyalty or not they will want to go with rask when that contract is up.

scnider i dont think will be traded this off season as he is only in the 2nd yr of his contract now(i think) so why not use him for cheep. maybe trade himat the deadline.

Quick will get majority of starts. Yea, Bernier is a phenomenal prospect but Quick was one of the best goalies this year. I'm getting less and less confident about Bernier unseating Quick, especially given his cheap contract.

They'll hang on to Schneider at his contract unless they get a sweet deal. Cheap and very talented. Could be moved at deadline though.

Thomas will start around 50-55 games I'd say. Rask getting the other 20 or so. Unless he slumps, but that's not looking likely.
