Any projections on his pt total for 2011-12?
I'm trying to compete in my keeper and make a trade for him. Not sure If he's washed up fantasywise. Thanks for your point of views.

He's not washed up at all, he has two more good years left at 35G-70+ to me, PIM's might be light though from years prior. These are my forward values for next season.

Iginla is definitely not washed up. He did have a horrible stretch beginning towards the end of last year and lasting until about November during which he scored something like 5 goals in 30 games so maybe that's where the "washup" thing comes from. But then he really picked up his game. I expect him to continue to score 30+ goals for a few more years with 35+ once more. Expect around 70-75 points.
I can't promise I'll try but I'll try to try.

Yeah I've been hearing a lot of suggestion that Iggy is washed up too and I don't agree. Iggy keeps himself in tremendous shape and he still looks great out there.
I'm with MT and VV. I still see at least a couple years left of expecting at least 70. If Tanguay re-signs I wouldn't be surprised him to get 80.

Don't be surprised to see Iginla top ten in points and goals for the next couple years. He's a special player. He's also very durable and extremely fit. He could be a teemu and play great past 40.

I don't get it - Iggy has averaged 87 points/season for the last 5 seasons. Where is this crap coming from about 70 points next year? Anyone selling Iginla right now as less than a point per game player next season is underselling.

Yeah, I am not the biggest fan of CGY the NHL organization, but shoeless is absolutely correct about about Iginla. He makes for very solid vet presence and on anyones fantasy squad - not to mention the reliable production that comes w/it.

No reason at all to suspect a downturn.

Absolutely. I'd pencil him in for 35-40 goals and 80-85 points.
