Not sure what Tocchet will do, but in Keller's 3 games last year, he looked good with Dvorak.
I'd assume a top six of:
Domi - Stepan - Duclair (to start)
Perlini (or Reider) - Dvorak - Keller

strome and keller on the same line might look good on paper but they essentially have no NHL experience, then to put them on a line together doesn't strike me as prudent.
especially when players with NHL experience are available to play on scoring lines
Consider Sim Hockey because guys who play shutdown minutes, deflect shots and clear creases build championships. Yet in fantasy they litter the unwanted UFA lists.
watching the first period of the Yotes-Avs game in San Jose
very ugly so far
multiple turnovers by Arizona plus a very high tempo start by Colorado has the ice tilted for the first 8 minutes of game time
Miska in net for Arizona
Kvaca for Colorado
nice PP goal by the Coyotes
Fischer wide open in front of the net redirects a nifty pass into the net
Coulter makes it 2-0 on poor defensive coverage by the Avs leading to a 2 on 1

He was solid. Played the angles very well, good rebound control and moved across the crease easily.
Colorado was in his face most of the early part of the game too. Bumping him, sticks to his glove hand. Alot of pressure and big bodies obscuring the play too.
He seemed very focused.

I also picked up Miska late in a prospect draft because of Arizona not having a set long-term #1 goalie. Not sure he has it in him but the opportunity is there.

Can anyone who has seen the Arizona games tell me how OEL has looked coming back from injury?
Might get an offer in which I'd acquire him, but wondering if hs injury could be the "bothers him all season long" kind.
Thanks!
On a fantasy hockey break.
The 2nd coming of Strome. Anyone watched him? How's he doing?

I usually watch a period or two a week of their games.
The team really took a few shots in the chops, losing Doan, coaching change
Barroway who always answers my emails hasn't responded this season so far
I am sure something is brewing

Guys what do you think about Arizonas situation at C if Barrett Hayton make it to the NHL this season. They have too many centers - Schmaltz - Stepan - Soderberg - Dvorak - Richardson... if Hayton, who is a C, cracks the roster, is he going to to play a wing or what?
Devils & Predators fan
Schmaltz & Dvorak have played some wing in the past. Soderberg had LW eligibility in pools last year, but he was predominately a C at 5x5.
My guess is Dvorak moves to wing. Richardson has always been a 3-4 C - he'll shuffle down to #4 slot if necessary. he is 34 afterall.
It's pretty common for rookies to start on the wing and after a year or two move to C. IE: R. Thomas STL last year (likely on W again this year); Trocheck Fla.
IMO - Hayton is going to have to blow the lights out of his camp to make this team this season. Merkley, Fischer, Garland all have the inside track on the final F spots entering camp.
I would really temper expectations on Hayton this year... to the point I would expect next season to be the first he really starts becoming relevant.
he should get 9 games... but I wouldn't be surprised if he goes back to Soo a full year back in the OHL where he missed half of last season
