Any updates?
I don't have a link for this, but his recovery is going very well. Will be healthy for camp.
Guy is one of the fittest players on the team, even at his age. I'm expecting a bounce back year - he was clearly playing hurt from about Nov/Dec onwarsd.
Erhoff gone, does samuelsson pretty much have the point on that 1st pp? Don't see bieksa or salo really taking it over and kesler hurt......Do you guys think it's basically a lock?
Has he played the point before? I see it as Edler and Salo on the first unit PP.
Sammuelsson took over on point for the first PP when Edler got hurt - I remember as I had Edler on my team and every time Sammy got a PP point I knew it should have been mine.
Kesler being out for a bit could also ensure Sammy a top spot, but it seems like guess work for now. Something to watch in pre-season for sure.
For what it's worth I don't see Bieksa on the first PP (see him as second PP QB) but could see Salo as he has a boomer of a slap shot.
Sammy will play on the point. The PP was actually better with him and without Edler. He doesn't have a huge slap shot but he moves the puck well and gets shots through. He's a liability but all forwards on the point are.
Point projection for next season if he plays PP1?
