Jackets' Asst. Coach Boughner Steps Down; Returns to Spitfires

Bob Boughner is turning his focus back to the Windsor Spitfires.
The Columbus Blue Jackets announced Wednesday that Boughner had stepped down as assistant coach after one season.

Boughner is the current President of the Windsor Spitfires.

There have been rumours that current coach Bob Jones could be heading to the Senators joining Majors' coach Dave Cameron as the assistant. Right now, that is all just speculation but I am sure if it does happen that it won't be announced until after the Memorial Cup.

For now, Boughner will focus on his presidential duties within the organization.

As of right now, I don't think they will hire Dave Cameron, but that's just my opinion.

I found it weird that this situation existed where Boughner was running both jobs at the same time.

The link was posted in my OP. If you are referring to the Cameron to OTT rumours there isn't a link hence the words "rumour" and "speculation" in the OP. Haha. A few of my go-to OHL guys have heard the Cameron to Ottawa rumblings as well
