Also his current roster isn't bad at all. You'd think to acquire every first round pick he'd have to move some solid pieces to get those picks, ( he did move some good pieces) but his current roster, not to shabby

lol...not likely. I still need a lot of luck.

My current roster is top heavy. I love my top 6 F and top 3 D. After that, there is a drop off, but hopefully I can get some great players with my picks. My current roster is the one in my sig.

lol...I sure hope not, but it is entirely possible, I suppose. The 2012 draft is deep, so there is no guarantee that the first 10 picks are better than the players in the 10-20 range (though right now Yakupov, Grigorenko, Galchenyuk, Murray, and Ebert are looking quite elite).

You guys made me curious, so I did a bit of digging. Since the inaugural draft, I made 15 trades. In the process, I traded away the following 10 players:

R. Whitney
N. Lidstrom
M. Carle

C. Schneider

And acquired the following 10 players, plus the additional 9 first round picks.

Often other picks were involved, but I’m not listing all of those. I obviously gave up a lot of good players (most notably Malkin and Doughty), but for the most part I'm pretty happy with the final result.
