As a Canucks fan from Vancity I'm obviously giving this one to the Mammals. I think the Sedins will make a big impact this series, they have to. They don't have anyone on D to shut them down really and I expect these to be more high scoring series. Wouldn't be surprised to see some 5-4s and it's going to be an exciting goalie duel. CANUCKS IN 6 BABY!(for my nerves sake)

I think it'll be a very entertaining series. The only thing, regardless of who wins, I don't want to hear anyone, analyst or whatever, call the loser of the series a playoff bust. No matter what, the exit of the Sharks or the Canucks will be commented on as "well, they choked again....only conference finals, not stanley cup finals....blow it up, who's to blame...blah blah blah blah".

I mean, it's the friggin conference finals, only one team can make it out of the west every year, out of 8 (who made the playoffs in the first place). It's hard, the odds are stacked against every team! So don't tell me the loser of this series is yet another playoff failure, 'cause it's not. Conference finals HAS to be seen as a deep playoff run and general postseason success. Otherwise, only one team has postseason success and the rest are all failure.....Gimme a break...

Anyway. Rant over. Just, given their postseason "histories" one of these teams is going to be labelled by some idiot as a playoff bust and that will just drive me up the wall, because it's ridiculous to say.

With that in mind, I hope SJS wins.

sharks are going to DESTROY luongo. i've correctly predicted the winner for ever series except tampa/pens and nashville anaheim so im feeling good about this one. sharks in 6!!! (dont say im not patriotic for not cheering the canadian team, i need sharks to go to the finals for my money pool, so it wasnt for that i would be cheering for the nucks. besides, all the canadian players play for the sharks lol)
