    ha ha, super secret indeed!

I guess Chara will be my boston pick... Not sure how I screwed that up! Can't believe I picked Zetterberg in retrospect... Thought he was ready for game 1... Oh well

    Thanks HIL!

So how do we know who's winning? I know my team has 60 points, but I'm not sure if that's good or not.

Writer of the weekly Top 10 column.

12-team Keeper pool, straight points for forwards & dmen. Goalies get: 2 points per win, 3 per shutout, 1 point per assist & 1 point per shootout loss.

    League champ in 2013, 2015, 2018, 2020 and 2022.

Top 8 forwards, 5 dmen and 2 goalies count.

We keep 15 players (any position) plus two rookies.

Forwards: Panarin, Ovechkin, Kopitar, Stamkos, Tuch, Rust, Marchessault, Pavelski, Miller, Bertuzzi, Stone, Kakko, Brown, Stankoven, Kovalenko
Defence: Hedman, Fox, Matheson, Thrun, Jiricek
Goalies: Kochetkov, Talbot, Vasilevskiy, Campbell, Schmid

It'll be interesting to see how good my team will be now that Miller was been eliminated. Wonder how important goalies are in this pool?

On the bright side, four of my eliminated players are defencemen, so I still have lots of forwards going ... er... forward.

I play in a similar pool for some years now.
Goalie tandem is the weakest spot on your team.
You don't want to see your goalie in the 2nd round.
If you picked the goalie of the champion team, you'll get 16 points for the wins and maybe 4-5 points for the blanks. For a total of 20-21.
You want more than this from your players who reach the Cup final.
In fact, you want each of your players to get more than 4-5 points per round.
I chose the NYR tandem. The Rangers were one of the teams that I could not see past the first round and they don't have top dmen like Yandle, Myers or Weber. And you don't want to waste a forward pick on guys like Gaborik or Dubinsky to get 1-2 more points than Lundqvist...
Keeper league (12 teams) - keep 6 (+ NHL team is auto keep)
    Weekly lineup: 1T, 9F, 4D, 1G
    Points only:
    Forwards & Dmen: goal (1), assist (1)
    Goalies: win (2), otl/sol (1), shutout (2)
    Team: win (2), otl/sol (1)
Only 2 FA pickups for the season (remaining: 0)

    [T] Edmonton
    [F] Panarin, Pettersson, Bedard
    [D] Heiskanen, Theodore, Dobson
    [G]

Stupid Chara. Put me in third place-ish. Hopefully he has a 15-point night tonight to make up for it.
