Default drop emery for a forward?

I'm in the finals right now. Things are really tight right now. Our skating categories are very close and he has a good lineup. I think another skater would be useful. He has Thomas, Rask and Brodeur right now as goalies. Our goalie categories currently are:
    His:
    Wins 2
    Gaa 1.626
    SV% .9457

    Mine:
    Wins 4
    GAA 2.313
    SV% .9300

Would I be better off going after another skater or keeping Emery in hopes that I can hope to bring my GAA below 2 or atleast bring my SV% up?

I'm not a math major, but in my experience, it's pretty much impossible to get your GAA below your opponents. Bringing it down from 2.3 to 1.6 after 4gp would pretty much mean 2 SO (I think). The SV% might be a bit more doable but unlikely.
I think, as it stands right now, you have to go after F stats. And even though I don't think many/any goalies are playing better than Emery right now, I'd go after a forward. Of course, this all hinges on whether your opponent's goalie stats remain static.

He's not going to sit any of his goalies this week so there's a chance he could hurt his numbers and that I could catch him.

You would need some help from his goalies to compete in GAA and SV% so less in your control by keeping Emery - probably a foward is the best move.

That sure changes things, I think you might benefit by holding onto Emery unless there's a skater thats really going to benefit you. Emery's playing like a man on fire right now so I wouldn't be inclined to drop him.

Just looked at my schedule for the remainder of the season. There's only 1 day where anahiem plays that my other goalies teams don't and that's the second of a back to back (San Jose then Dallas) so Ellis will probably get the start for that game. That made the decision really easy.
