I voted "Hidden Gems" more descriptive of the untapped fantasy hockey knowledge being unearthed.
Black Aces, sounds like a nice name for a hockey team, or a club, ...or a Motown group, or perhaps a group of World War II Tuskegee Fighter Pilots, ...but not a pool of undiscovered, unheralded hockey writers.

Hidden gems are obscure or unknown players that you stash on your bench and hope for a payoff.
The black Aces are traditionally the guys that skate with your team in the playoffs and are ready to go at a moments notice to fill whatever role is needed.
I kind of like black aces because Hidden Gems are the guys that you draft on your practice roster and the Black Aces they are guys on the cusp of making your real roster.
After 69 votes - the poll has finished.
It was a hard fought battle, but after a strong push by Dobber himself, the Black Aces rose to the occasion, stepped up their game, and conquered their opposition in a split decision vote.
