Hey Guys, I\'m trying to put together a trade offer to get a goaltender, and was wondering who you would pick for the rest of the year.

The stats are W, GAA, SV, SV%, and SHO.

The goalie choices are Tim Thomas, Marty Turco, and Rick Dipietro.

Based on their team and goalie performances.. how would you rank them from here on in?

Tim Thomas, would be your best bet. He, despite heavy disbelief has produced all season long. Bostons tight defensive trap, enables him to have a great GAA. He\'s also on fire right now, winning 2 of his last 3, with one of those being a shutout, and the other a 42 save night. Go with Thomas.

I would strongly disagree. I would take Turco and then Dipeitro. Forget about Thomas, the Bruins are to wishy washy. And Rask is getting more of a look each day.

Take Turco and be happy about it.

I would agree with Zorro. Not so much about the Rask thing but Turco and Dipietro are in a better position than Thomas. He faces a ton of shots and the Bruins just don\'t score enough. Turco,Dipietro,Thomas for me.

Go for Turco. He plays in a much more solid defensive system than Boston. Granted, Boston\'s D is good, but they are also a little unpredictable. At least with Dallas you know you\'re gonna get solid defense night in and night out. Boston can give you that, but they\'ll also give up 7 goals on 51 shots.

Thomas might come cheaper though and could still put up good numbers...

Alright guys.. so based on your advice.. I\'m trying to go for Turco, and I have his counteroffer sitting at (There\'s more info after the trade.. incase you don\'t feel like reading it all) ....

My: M.Schneider, Ryan Whitney(D), Milan Michalek
    for
    His: K.Timmonen, M.Straka, M.Turco

Does this look like a decent trade for me?

I\'m inclined to go for it.. I\'d feel more confident in Turco then Toskala, and I think I can get away with grabbing a PIM/points RW to take the lead in PIMs.. while waiting to see if Selanne comes back to life.

    Background Info:

    1-year Roto league, play 3C, 3LW, 3RW, 4D, 2G

He\'s 40 games behind in D, so of course he needs an extra D-man. I\'m 10 games behind in D, 20 behind in RW.

My D: Rafalski, Gonchar, Zidlicky, Corvo, Whitney, Schneider

So I\'m sure I can afford to lose Whitney+Schneider and get Timmonen back.

My RW: Heatly, Demitra, Havlat, Michalek, Selanne

Notable FA: Guerin, PM Bouchard, Hudler, Hartnell, Kotalik, Knuble

    My Goalies: Nabby, Huet, Toskala

Notable FA: Garon, Ellis, Mason, Kolzig, Holmqvist
