    Default I\'ve finally had enough

After having dropped from 1rst to 7th place in a months time I\'ve decided to make drastic changes to my team.

I took Dobber\'s advice in the mid season guide and traded away Mike Richards for Briere.

I also dropped Marleau and Cheechoo for Filppula and Kostitsyn. I know that those two were supposed to turn it around for the second half but my patience has worn quite thin. Plus I figure I can easily match their potential point per game pace by riding free agent players through their hot streaks.

    Thoughts?

I would have held Marleau a little longer. Otherwise, good moves.

In a one-year league, I think Kostitsyn will have a great second half anyway, so you hedged your Cheechoo bet there and went with the hot hand to boot. Well done.
Filpulla will also improve...but not as much as I think Marleau will. Still, you made a safe play and looking at the deal as a whole it is not too bad, especially since you were looking at turning your team on it\'s ear.

Another thing I forgot to mention before. Our league has a cap on games played at 82 per position. As it stands right now I am +16 for goalies and -15 for defencemen. One of the other teams in my league is -26 for goalies and +1 for defence. I am thinking of offering him McCabe and Leclaire for Fleury and Zubov.

What do you guys think, one stud for another and one albatross for another? Plus I have a strong feeling that the Penguins will send Conklin back down once Fleury is back, as he was an emergency callup and anyone else would have to pass through waivers.
