Awesome, can't wait, going to start thinking about my team now
Hey everyone,
Playoffs are almost here, which means only one thing; its time to start preparing for my Dobber Playoff Pool.
The pool is open to everyone that wants to play; all you need to do is select your players and leave the rest to fate!! Do you have what it takes to join our previous champions playmaker26(2009) and noglovenolove(2010)??
The format is simple enough. You will select 16 players, with the following team make-up: Nine forwards, six defencemen and one goaltending tandem. However, there's a catch; you have to select one player from each of the 16 playoff teams.
Scoring is also simple: skaters are awarded a point for a goal/assist; goalies are awarded a point for a win/goal/assist AND a bonus point for a shut out.
Now, you cant have a playoff pool with out some kind of prize; i mean where's the motivation in chooosing the best team if you dont have something to show of to your buddies? In the past I've personally put up the prize, and will do so again this season. If you are the champion of the Dobber Playoff Pool 2011 you will receive your choice of:
a) A trophy
b) A copy of Dobber's ULTIMATE Fantasy pack for the 2011/12 season
c) A Reebok/CCM Vintage replica jersey of your choice.
If there are any questions about the pool, please ask away; i will do my best to answer them promptly. I will also put up a template of how the team make-up will look like.
Thanks, and best of luck to all who enter!!

I don't think u should be funding the prizes HIL. WaAaay too nice. I will submit my picks before the deadline. Wouldn't it be better to PM the picks?
I am not going to lie, my picks will be very similar to yours

First off, funding the prizes isnt a hardship at all....my way of paying back all the great advice i get from the forum members
as for my picks, the "team" i put up was merely a template so that people could get a grasp of what i was talking about; that being said it is a fine looking team.....
