Default Who to start??? Pick 2 of 4

OK so obviously I'll be carefully following the status of these guys tomorrow and they might not all even be starting but assuming they are

    Hiller @ NAS
    Rinne vs ANA
    Anderson @ NYR
    Garon @ PHO

the first two are my best tenders so I'm tempted to go with both of them and hope for the best since my league awards multiple stats...here's how the scoring works

    Wins: 2
    OTL: 0.8
    GA: -0.64
    SV: 0.08
    SO: 3

so basically for every goal a goalie lets in, as long as he stops 8 shots it cancels it out, the other categories are fairly standard

Hiller vs Rinne gets you an automatic W. Plus both of them are likely to get the better stats.

I guess it depends how bad you need the points from 2 W's, but I think this is a no-brainer.

Don't really like Anderson against NYR or Garon against the Yotes'.

yeah that's my thinking too, I just worry a bit about Hiller...is he really back to normal? Will he be rusty?

I hear ya, and also the Ducks are coming off a game last night against the Stars.

It's tough to go against the two better goalies on better teams though.

If you're looking at benching one of hiller/rinne I would go with Anderson if he's playing.

    Cheers.

Wouldn't really recommend playing Anderson against NYR...the Rangers are on a rush right now, won their last 4 in a row and have put up big time numbers in 3 of those games. Anderson's just returning from injury.
Hiller is risky too, Nashville has been playing well lately as well + Hiller hasn't played in quite awhile. However as you've already laid out, only takes 8 saves in order to neg a goal against, + the 2 points from the win guaranteed assuming Hiller is starting. That seems to be your choice for lowest risk.
Only thing you would have to be worried about there is a high scoring game where both goalies are terrible, hopefully that wouldn't happen though.

Hiller Rinne. Should be a very close game, low scoring affair. Plus NYR should beat ottawa and PHX should beat columbus.

Hiller Vs Rinne for sure. 2 really good goalies and you're assured of getting a win out of what's probably going to be a low scoring game.

With no penalty for a loss, Hiller/Rinne is your choice.

Yes, Anderson *may* beat new york, he may not, and Rinne (who I assume would be your other choice) isn't guaranteed to win. NYR is hot, Lundqvist is on FIRE. That's a game I'd stay away from; Anderson's come down to earth a little bit since his hot start.

And I'd not rely on Columbus.

Hiller/Rinne is a good choice. Unless you're paranoid about not having Hiller finish the game. But I think its safe to assume that in the Ducks management are okay with Hiller starting, he's good to go. He's one star they don't wanna live without.
