[Two On One]

Okay masters of hockey zen...

I\'m nearing the end of my hockey season (Allstar break, with a second season starting in the 2nd half), and I\'m in a virtual 3-way tie for 1st place. So it\'s pretty safe to say it\'s crunch time.

On Thursday, I get to pick up a free agent forward in this fairly shallow league. Here are my choices plus the # of games the player has until the allstar break. Oh, and I\'ll drop in the scroing system too...

How would you rank them? I like the fact that Fisher is playing well and has the most games of the group with 9, but the flu bug is going around the OTT clubhouse... plus I also have Spezza and I\'m always worried about putting too many eggs in one basket.

Holmstrom is just coming off of injury and I wonder if he\'ll be slow to be his normal self.

I don\'t think any of these guys are a bad pick, just boils down to who\'s going to be the hottest in the next 2 weeks. Any takers? B)

well since goals are awarded more points in your league, you will have to look at Brown or Kovalev first off.Especially in a one year league. Then you would have to look at maybe Prospal and then Gomez. Holmstrom must be really hurt if he isn\'t playing..

yeah the extra points for goals drops Gomez down my list here. if you didn\'t have that then he\'d be my top choice easily but he doesn\'t seem to get the G. i like Brown and Kovalev first unless Brown continues with his injury issues then it\'s Kovalev first. i don\'t see any problems with having Fisher next and the extra couple games would come in very handy. Holmstrom worries me w/ his knee and i\'d put him about on par with Gomez here on this list. i\'m not a Prospal fan and i\'d put him at the bottom of the list.

i\'d gamble on fisher , holmstrom is back and may pick up where he left off.

Cant go wrong this year with Prospal or Holmstrom. Someone who\'s never shot a puck can score on lines with either Lecavalier & St. Louis or Datsyuk & Zetterberg. Even when Detroit splits Dats & Zetterberg they still play on the PP together with Holmstrom.
