Supposedly the Sharks are talking to the Panthers with Nabokov as bait.
This is purely a rumor though I\'m sure, since Toskala is hurt right now, and the sharks won\'t sell their insurance policy for anyone the panthers have. Also, I think nabby has a no-trade clause, and after seeing how they treat their goalies, I doubt he\'d waive it to go there.
This is just a stupid situation. Florida should\'ve just re-signed Luongo. Rediculous. You pay a goalie like Luongo whatever he wants in order to keep him. Especially when Luongo currently makes as much as Theodore and Khabibulin.

I\'m happy Canada got Roberto Luongo (roll the r\'s when you say it out loud) back, and he\'ll look underpaid when his contract runs out. I agree, he\'s a massive keeper.
Khabibulin\'s agent might be to blame for the perceived crumbling of the Bulin Wall. Khabi still has the guts and talent to backstop a team that\'s getting better. I like him as a possible sleeper next year.
Jose should solicit an endorsement contract with ********, while he can.
Do the Swedish twins get Smoke-d? Enquiring minds want to know...

Angus made a post about it. He did put in the subject line (UNCONFIRMED) though... so it might just be a rumor. We\'ll have to wait and see.
I think Florida should trade him though... since I don\'t think he\'ll resign there and his contract is up at the end of this season. They might as well try and get something for him (to offer some sort of validity to the Luongo mess).
