Wins and shutouts only, I prefer Hutchinson. Pavelec's "Golden Boy" status won't last much longer.
Who do you prefer for the rest of the season? Only wins and shutouts count.

A wishbone.
A backbone.
And a funny bone.

Do you have max GP? You'll probably get a similar amount of wins from both, but with Hutchinson you'll get those wins out of fewer starts.

Given the fact that one is a number one and one is a backup, this is a pretty clear choice for me

Both teams will probably win close to the same amount going forward, but Anderson will be playing more and he already has more shutouts and more wins. They will stick with Pavelec no matter how good Hutchinson plays.
Neither will be getting you a large amount of wins most likely
Anderson is definitely more of a sure-thing. Hutchinson has never been a starter and may quickly start losing starts if Pavelec gets on a roll.
I can't promise I'll try but I'll try to try.
Now see, that's a much better argument than your previous one.
But I believe the core question is rather "Will they stick with Pavelec no matter how badly Pavelec plays?".
What we're seeing to this point suggests the answer to be "Apparently not".
I would certainly allow that Hutchinson is the more high risk/high reward proposition.
RETIRED
I finally went with Hutch, but I agree that Anderson was probably the safer choice. I guess I'm trying to hit a homerun here. I feel that if Hutch can keep up the great work he has done so far, he will only get more starts. A big win tonight against the powerful Hawks could go a long way towards that. Anyway, I guess we'll see.
