Playing for next season......

I am sadly not in the mix to win so I have begun to assess what players to keep and who to move. We a salary based auction format with a cap of $270 each season to spend. Having cheap goalies can be a huge advantage I currently have Elliott $10 Allen $6 and Smith$6. I know the season is early but how would people rank these three going into 2015? I will not have room for two.

This is what I'd do also.

I'd rank them like this for next year:

Allen
Elliott
Smith

Allen (STL)
Elliott (STL)
...
M.Smith (ARI)

Elliott is signed for another two years after this one.
Allen is RFA.
I honestly don't think anybody knows who will be the #1 beyond this year, so plan on keeping them both.
$16 for 82 STL starts is pretty sweet... as they should be considered a top 5 NHL team for goalie-value.

I don't think Mike Smith is worth it.
Arizona is awful and I don't see them getting any better.

Thanks, I am going to consider the tandem but I will only be able to keep 9 NHL'ers and 6 minors. Or 10 and 5 so it may be tight keeping both STL tenders. If by some miracle Smith garners any trade value I will trade him then.

I'd be fine keeping both Elliott and Allen at those prices. Maybe you can move Smith for something decent if a guy wants to gamble on a bounce-back. Frankly he hasn't been anything special since his first year with the Coyotes.

Another vote for Elliot and Allen, unless something crazy happens this season. If you don't have room for both, maybe you can try to package them for one solid keeper? Schnieder or something like that maybe?
