Get him all the playing time he can handle in the AHL to improve his game. Labarbera can handle the back-up duties in Anaheim.
I have Gibson in my keeper pool but I can wait for him to become better, as he has shown that he isn't quite ready.

I grabbed Gibson with my last pick in my draft thinking I was being sneaky. Granted he probably won't be down in the AHL much longer, but I'm not sure if this is a good sign. Maybe he plays the weekend, gets his confidence and they put him in and he shines. Who knows. I doubt it though. I really thought they would have put him in against Buffalo.

I'd actually prefer to see him stay down there for a month or so. Gibson is going to be a stud, but he needs some more seasoning IMO
