This is still a bit of a secret, but I will be releasing a ranking for similar stats (no blocked shots) for the Dobberhockey front page somewhere around the 15th.
I'm starting a new league and have never played with hits and blocked shots.
Who you rank as the top twenty players with the following cats?
G A Sog +/- PPP hits bkshots GAA S% W SO
Thanks for your advice.
Here's how I have the first five ranked:
Crosby
Stamkos
Ovi
Malkin
Tavares
Giroux
E staal
After that I have a bunch of guys but not too sure where I'd rank them like parise, hall, Nash, toews, kopitar, Neal, Kane, etc
Anyways thanks for your input.

My main league:
Thanks!
I kinda have some rankings in mind but I don't know if I'm over emphasizing the hits category and blocked shots. I'm used to just 6 player categories so Im not too sure where goalies fit in I was thinking if I get two late picks maybe ill lock up two goalies right away.
How many teams in your league? I am in a small league so I can typically wait on goalies. I usually rank my skaters and then tier my goalies. Then I just see how the draft unfolds and wait to select a goalie until a tier starts depleting too much for my liking. I guess I tier the skaters as well for different positions/categories.
It's going to between 12-16 teams. I should of mentions that its 2lw 2rw 2c 4d 4 bench and 1ir
Large league with small rosters, not what I am used to .
After the top five I was thinking something like
E Staal
Toews
Parise
Hall
Nash
Kane
Kopitar
Getzlaf
Neal
Perry
I'm hoping to snag Landeskog, E.Kane, Brown, COuture, and Backes in like the 4th maybe 5th round hopefully.
Actually, it would be top 6 (Sid, Ovi, Geno, Tavares, Stamkos, Giroux).
After that, the pack above makes sense, but I could suggest another set of folks that could easily factor into the conversation as the next tier - Backstrom, Datsyuk, Zett, H Sedin, D Sedin, St.Louis (especially in 1-year Pts only league), Kessel, Duchene, Eberle, Stepan, Seguin, B Ryan, Spezza, Moulson, Wheeler.
League 1: 2021 Dobber Entry (Patrick), Yahoo Roto, 10 Teams
4C, 4LW, 4RW, 6D, 2G start; 5 Bench
Skaters: G, A, +/-, PPP, SOG, Hits
Goalies: W, Saves, GAA
Forwards:
C: Malkin, ROR, Backstrom
LW: Forsberg, Parise
RW: Gallagher, Hornqvist, D Brown, Kessel
Dual Eligibility: Svechnikov, Jamie Benn, Radulov, Domi, Rakell, Pavelski
Defense: Hamilton, Letang, OEL, Suter, Spurgeon, Girard
Goalies: Vasilevskyi, Lehner, Mrazek, Reimer
I pretty much have all those players ranked right behind the ones I listed. I have Kessel just after the guys I listed. Thanks for the input all.
Hits and Blocked shots increase the value of players who contribute those, dramatically.

Pekka Rinne
Evgeni Malkin
Dion Phaneuf
Shea Weber
Cory Schneider

Sidney Crosby
Mike Green
Ryan Getzlaf
Claude Giroux
James Neal
Dustin Brown
Dustin Byfuglien
Do you know savvy your opponent GMs are? If the GMs in your league aren't serious poolies, I've found drafting the best scoring options and good goal tending rounds 1-8ish a good idea.
After round 8, I start drafting guys like Seidenberg, Smid, Grossman, Beauchemin, Fraser, Schenn -guys that don't get much glory but are absolute peripheral studs. They can consistently win you the hits/blks category week after week.
1-Year 12-team H2H: G/A/+-/PIM/PPP/SOG/SH%/FW/HIT/BLK GS/W/GAA/SV/SV%/SHO
C: Giroux, Backstrom, Hanzal, Ribeiro
LW: Nash, Ladd
RW: Wheeler, Vrbata, Hornqvist
D: Keith, Streit, Franson, Gardiner
G: Lunquist, Mason, Luongo
IR: Stepan
I think some of them will know their stuff while the other half of them not so much. So i'm hoping to draft some hidden gems. I've been looking at some late rounders like Schenn and Schmid as well. I'm thinking theres going to be 16 teams each team will have about 15 players so it will be pretty deep.
I think I'll have a slight edge in choosing some better all around contributors in the late rounds then the rest of the poolies in the league.
