I must say, I am half way through the third season of Ray Donovan and I would say this has been my favorite season so far. I love Ian McShane and his character so far has been awesome. I was surprised to see Katie Holmes as well.
Mr Robot is fantastic.
The best TV I watched last year was (in order) Fargo, The Leftovers, Mr Robot and The Knick. Those shows are definitely not for everybody and they can be sort of difficult to watch as they don't follow traditional structures, the bad guys often win, etc. but they were all well-acted, stylish, challenging and like nothing else on TV. The Jinx was incredibly compelling too, although I don't really think of it as a series.
Also the Wet Hot American Summer series on Netflix was very funny (at least the first half of it was) if you liked the movie.

I finished Mr. Robot... first 2-3 episodes were amazing, then it quickly went downhill, picked up temporarily mid way, and the last few episodes just plain sucked.
Overall, 6.5/10... disappointing since the start was so intriguing.
Yeah I lasted about 2.5 episodes of Mr.Robot.
Didn't like it either.
its been around for awhile ''The Americans'' with keri russell etc...
I recorded it on dvr when fx had a marathon weekend of the series .

Just finished Mr.Robot. (96% fresh RT, 79% Metacritic)
9/10 for me.
I thought it was terrific.
Episode 8/9 were fantastic... anybody catch the parallels in the show (3 of them: main plot, character association, and song) to a certain Brad Pitt movie?
(spoiler, don't mention it if you caught it. They use same end song, piano version, in end ep.9 as they did in end of movie. Pretty fun parallel, if you catch it while it's going on... I did - mentioned to wife that producer would HAVE to give it a reference in his end of Ep.9 summary... and he did.)
The whole show was very Dexter (which I loved, Malek's dialogue is just so good) mashed with ____ _____ (movie, which I loved).
And it was produced just far enough way from both that it felt fresh.
They open up a real good character with Tyrell Welleck, who is probably a bit based on Christian Bale's Finance-character in American Psycho.
So the show borrows a lot from some typical male-cult favourite themes/characters... but the three male characters definitely carry the show in a fresh-way.
(btw - Anybody know what language Welleck's character speaks in his home life w/wife? Just checked - gotta be his native Swedish.)
Wife & I signed up for Amazon Prime a few weeks ago, so we may move on to Mozart in the Jungle (95% fresh RT, 73 Metacritic) - which won for Best Comedy of 2016 Golden Globes.
FYI, Suits started back up again this week.

3 episodes in on Narcos and it is quite good.
I also have been watching some old episodes of the Twilight Zone and some are excellent.

Not saying the show won't deliver - the ratings you posted are legit - but using the nominations or outcome of the Golden Globes as a guidepost can be dicey (see, e.g., http://www.film.com/movies/worst-gol...be-nominations, and of course Pia Zadora).

Yes! This is a must-watch. Requires a little suspension of disbelief but still very good. Should be starting back up again soon.
Also watched the first episode of Billions. Looks good so far, Giamatti and Lewis were both excellent, but the show is going to need more of a supporting cast.
RETIRED
House of Lies... amazing
