for his M.A. Fleury, Backes, and James Neal.

Neal was a point per game. So was Kane. Backes i thought would bounce back. And Fleury over Halak was my win.

Oh fate how you hated me that year.

As we know Kane put in 88 to Neal's 55
Backes ended up at 48.

And Halak was all world where Fleury was just barely average.

Poor poor deal.

Oh yah and he snagged DiPietro off the scrap heap with pick 34.

I traded Stamkos/Voracek/Goligoski/Gomez for PKane.

This was half way thru Stamkos rookie season and everyone was after Kane. I think Stamkos has scored the most goals in the NHL since I traded him and I would have won the pool last year if I could have kept Stamkos instead of Kane. In my defence I knew I couldnt have kept the other 3 but man would I ever love to have Stamkos/Goli/Voracek right now.

Trading away Ryan Miller for Carey Price and Igor Makarov. This was a year ago before Miller's huge breakout. It's not such a bad move because I also have Bryzgalov and in this format it's only valuable to have one top goalie, but had I waited I could've received better compensation than that.

Hurts after the fact.

In my roto league I was evaluating my team and determined that I needed goal scorers, as I had plenty of assists. So, I figured I would sacrifice a decent playmaker to upgrade to get a goal scorer. So...

I traded Henrik Sedin for Olli Jokinen.

I'd say my biggest mistake recently was dealing Kopitar straight up for Bryzgalov before last season started.

While that sounds like a good trade, at the end of the year I let another manager convince me that my goalie situation was too shaky and I ended up trading my first round pick (late pick) for Marc Andre Fleury and then not keeping Bryzgalov cuz we can only keep one goalie.

So essentially I gave up Kopitar and my first round pick for Fleury.

Blah, if I would've just kept Bryz like I originally planned I probably competed for a championship last season. To make matters worse, I draft Rask last season and then I traded him mid-season (while he was still splitting time) along with Hemsky for Semin, EJ, Bobby Ryan and somebody else I'm forgetting at the moment.

So I'm still friggin' stuck with Fleury...lol

This has to be one of the worst...

I turned down a trade to acquire Doughty in his mediocore rookie year for S. Koivu, Cheechoo, and Alex Auld (at the time had the best GAA and SV% in the league). That one still hurts when I think about it (yikes!!).

Pretty much got owned on that one. Didnt really expect Hank would win the Hart haha

I think the percentage of GM's that would have done that deal is pretty high - count me in on doing it.
