Keep the offense you have, not really anything available that upgrades you.
I'd look at E. Johnson, Leddy or McBain over Salo
Are any of these guys upgrades over the team I currently have? If so, who should I drop in favor of them? Scoring categories and lineup are in my sig below; thanks in advance for any advice.

I like Artem Anisimov over Steve Sullivan
Id grab Souray over Voynov or Salo... Number PP QB in Anaheim, dunno why he would still be sitting on the wire...

He's also 36 years old, I'm not so confident he's going to light it up with Anaheim.

If you didn't already have a ton of C's I'd say grab Zajac ASAP, but with so many good ones it doesn't make sense. Hanzal would be another guy I'd like to add, but again it doesn't make sense.
I agree that Salo should be replaced, and I don't have much faith in Sullivan either. You've got a lot of low PIM players, so I would try to get some help there. All the guys you've listed aren't really good options either. Are there any good goons available? Dorsett is a great guy for that, and he plays a ton on the penalty kill so he could probably help you with the shorthanded stats too.
Other than a goon-type I'd drop Salo for EJ. And if Wisniewski gets hurt I would jump all over Nikitin.

Looking at those settings then clearly you focus on those that have the potential to give you the highest offensive production. I don't even consider PIM in this as much since it's one category of nine in a H2H league.One-Year, 10 team Yahoo H2H Weekly with Daily Roster Updates

I like Zajac and I'd consider dropping Sullivan for him. Since you have two forward slots and two utility slots you can still use him, but perhaps more a bench filler especially if Carter, Lecavalier and Kesler (when healthy) are in there as well. But given that he should be PP1 I'd go for him, and trust him more than Sullivan. Vermette is intriguing since he could be the #1 centre both ES and PP but I like Zajac more than him.
Nobody else jumps out for the forwards.
I like EJ in there as well, dropping Salo.
Thanks for all of your opinions, some really helpful stuff.
I ended up dropping Salo for Erik Johnson, seeing as he's Colorado's number 1 PP QB, and Sullivan in favor of Zajac, since he should be Kovalchuk's pivot with PP1 time.
I will certainly be keeping a close eye on Vermette's situation in PHX, Souray in ANH, and Faulk in CAR. For now I feel that Gonchar should be taking Kuba's minutes on the Ottawa PP with Karlsson, but obviously it's hard to know with no games yet. I also think that Voynov might be due for a breakout since he had so much PP1 time toward the end of last season. I agree with your thinking, horrorfan, that i should forgo PIM since there are eight other forward categories in this setup. Here's hoping we get hockey back soon.
