Although Matthews (#1), Puljujarvi (#2) and Laine (#3), all remain as Top 3 in the ISS Top 30 April Release, the remaining 27 ranks have shuffled. With the season winding down, Jake Bean, a left defender from Calgary Hitmen in the WHL, has become the biggest jumper, rising six ranks to #15.
"Jake Bean has a positive impact in today's game, says ISS Hockey Director of Scouting Dennis MacInnis. He's a smart offensive defender that has not only improved his defensive play substantially but has the courage to play bigger then he's listed and be fearless when getting through traffic.

A lot will depend on team needs when the draft is rolling but I wouldnt be surprised either.

From the reports I've heard on Nylander based on the OHL first round, I think he drops down to the 8-10 range.

What did you hear about him?
Honestly, I thought Nylander was the most impressive player at the WJC outside of the top 3 on this list. I think he has a very fantasy-friendly style of play. I always had him as my number 4 and was wondering why nobody else did. What am I missing about him?
We know Jake Bean is definitely going to be good because after simming a few years in NHL 2016 he's a stud!
I'm surprised they have Puljujarvi ahead of Laine.
Also if they Keller kid is not in the top 10 that will be a great draft pick for that team that gets him. I hope he somehow falls as the highest selection I have in any of my pools is 9th (unless I win the lotto of course)

I think Dubois will go ahead of Tkachuk and Nylander. I'm a fan.

Yeah, I thought it was a good read. Still having a couple leagues active and with Baseball just starting up, I haven't gotten a chance to go too deep in on the 2016 class yet.

I really want my Habs to draft Dubois. Doubt it happens though
twitter: @hugotwigg
I doubt it too...I think he will be off the board come the Habs pick if they are in the 7-10 range. I would very happy if they chose McLeod in that range though.

Nylander had a very good first round for Mississauga...He was probably their best player against Barre (him and McLeod anyways). The Steelheads are going to be a scary hockey team next year.
I'm glad to see Cliff Pu get some love. He has always been the hardest working player on the ice any game I've watched London play. He has been great in a shutdow role, great speed and has shown good work in the faceoff circles. I think he'll slip to the middle of the second round but would be a fantastic 3rd line center down the road.
On a fantasy hockey break.
