70-30 he doesn't move before the season... And if pushed I'd probably say no full stop.
Tampa are loading up for one more go and unless someone meets their asking price they'll hang on - why strengthen a rival when you are win it to win it?
So, will Bishop get moved before the start of the new season or will the Bolts keep him for another crack at Lord Stanley? The signing of Killorn is certainly another sign Bishop is not staying long term. It's not a question of if but when will he be moved?
Im curious because if he gets moved to say Dallas before the start of the season, Vasilevski becomes an automatic keeper for me. What do you guys think?

I say yes, to Dallas for a package including, Nichushkin.
Lehtonen will also go back the other way, with Dallas retaining 1-2million of his salary.
Jim Nill probably regrets not using a buyout on one of his goalies when he had the chance. This is his next best option. Its similar to the Carolina situation (Bickell & Teravainen).
I think it will look like this
Bishop + Calllahan
to Dallas for
Lehtonen ($1.5m retanined) + Nichushkin + Oleksiak.
just a thought

Yzerman doesn't rush into moves. I think it's an after the season kind of move for them. Going to be a lot of moves between the stanley cup and the expansion draft next June.

(No I don't have a hockey problem...)
This has so many holes I don't know where to start.
- Callahan has a NMC clause.
- Why would TB want to touch Lehtonen's contract, which has two years left.
- You think TB will trade Bishop since they lose him in expansion, but the main piece coming back is Nich....who they'd have to expose and probably lose to expansion?
- If TB trades with Dallas, they'll want pieces like Honka or Janmark or Gurianov - pieces they can actually protect.
Deal makes no sense from TBL side.
I guess the Lehtonen add makes some sense as he remains unprotected next season and they hope LV claims him - agree they'd want some pieces that they would actually keep past next season (of value) as well

I doubt he moves before the season unless Dallas sends an offer that Yzerman can't refuse (doubtful). Tampa has no rush, why trade a Vezina contender when you have a chance to win it all this season? I think a lot of it depends on how the season unfolds. If Vasilevsky gets in for a stretch and plays well, perhaps Yzerman moves Bishop prior to the trade deadline. If he struggles, then Tampa has no worries because they still have Bishop. Then they can make a decision prior to the expansion draft about which goalie to move forward with. The NHL goalie landscape will have shifted again by then and I'm sure someone will have interest in trading for one of TBs goalies.
Without me, it's only "aweso".

Lets remember, Bishop was lights out in the playoffs before the injury. He's still the legit #1 in TB - Vasil wasn't as good as Murray for Pitt. It's still Bishop's job until it isn't in TB

or did Vas just not get the goal support? I wasn't sold on Murray the last two series but sometimes thems the breaks. Agree that Bishop remains number one and if anything the split is 50-30 in games next season if both remain hence he still has huge value IMO

If I could only keep one of Bishop/Allen on my roster, I'd be keeping Bishop. thankfully I can keep 2

I know the isles were interested at around draft time but they probably required someone to take halak off their hands first .
