I'd back this thinking up. Hiller was the clear starter at the beginning, then stunk for a few weeks then got injured. But in the last month, his numbers are better than Fasth's over that time period even though the overall season stats are worse as a result of his really crappy play at the start. No reason to think he shouldn't get the majority of the starts.
I can't promise I'll try but I'll try to try.
I think they will ride the hot hand until that player cools down. Right now, it's Hiller and as history usually repeats itself, Hiller tends to have a strong finish every year. I can see a 14-5 split in favor of JH.

Looks like Fasth is starting tonight. As a Hiller owner x 3, Boudreau is absolutely driving me crazy with this musical goalies game haha.
So after I post my last post, I find that Fasth is starting tonight, after Hiller had an excellent game against the best team in the league and after having played just one game in a row. Looks like the split may be closer to 50-50. Don't understand why BB wouldn't go with his proven starter who is also playing excellent hockey these days.
I can't promise I'll try but I'll try to try.
Haha. The only Detroit boys I have to cheer for are Brunner and Cleary. I do own Getzlaf and Perry, so I'll still be pulling for Anaheim. But in more of a shootout type game. One in which Fasth doesnt look particularily good.

You have a point. But in WAS, none of the goalies that were being shuffled was a proven starter, unlike Hiller.
Hoping Fasth gets traded. Not sure if his new contract is good or bad for his trading value. I think it was a premature signing which may deter some GMs but it's not too bad as a cap hit so again a team desperate for a goalie could go for him.
I can't promise I'll try but I'll try to try.
Fasth yanked. Hopefully they start to ride hiller now.
