Draft will be all non-keepers and rookies
Here's the actual deal on the table:
Kadri, Bryzgalov, 9th overall, 19th overall
For
Luongo, 43rd overall
Bryz would just be a throw in so it won't appear the other GM will be picking a goalie in the first rnd.
It's important to know how crazy hard it is to move a goalie in our league.
What do you guys think?
This a fair deal?

For me kadri side i'm not a big fan of briz but with
the 9th and 19th overall you have to keep it (my opinion)
I know that luongo is now alone in vancouver with that he will have great stats but i think it is to much for him
very thought choice
What goalies are available in the draft? You mention they are hard to acquire which leads me to think not many are but it would be useful to know.
I'd lean towards accepting the deal. Tough to loae your first two picks but lounge should be a top 5-top 10 goalie for the next couple years.
Edit: I am assuming that without this deal your 1st round pick is a goalie?

When you say "no positional requirements" I'm assuming that doesn't include D. How many of them do you need?
In a points-only league I'm wondering if Kronwall is a better keeper than Kadri anyways. But I suppose that's not what you're asking.
Would you keep two goalies? How many can you count in your scoring system?
Can you wait a bit? Or can you put a condition on Bryz (if he signs, you get one of the picks back)?
I think the other owner is smart -- claiming Bryz is a throw-in, but the reality is that if Bryz gets signed sometime, he could be a sleeper. Depends on the team. I wouldn't want to count on him, but he could be a nice throw-in.
It depends for me on the league scoring -- what counts. If you can count two goalies, then getting a second would be huge. Then I think it's worth the price tag.
Points-only, Full Keeper Dynasty League
Active roster (no starts, just total points): 12 FW, 6 D, 1 Goalie
Forwards: Kucherov, Barkov, Teravainen, Seguin, Hoffman, Lindholm, Gusev, Horvat, Meier, Perron, Schwartz, Johansen, Pavelski, Buchnevich, Hischier, Granlund, Bracco
Defense: Josi, Dahlin, Letang, Gostisbehere, Ekman-Larsson, Petry, Slavin, Keith, Matheson
Goal: Lehner, Holtby, Varlamov
Farm: Soderstrom, York, Woo, Tracey, Dorofeyev
Unless you count 2 (or 3!) goalies in your league, I would definetly not keep 2 G.
I play in a very similar league. About 6 (8 max) G are kept each year.
My advice:
No trade. Keep your picks.
Keep Kronwall. Try to trade Kadri for picks.

Hey Guys,
I'll try to clear a few things up here.
We pick and play two goalies weekly.
If I didn't get a second goalie my first round pick would be a goalie.
Let's say every team keeps one goalie and half the league keeps an additional. This eats up approximately 20 of the top goalies.
In our league top goalies are well above PPG.
Bryz as a throw in - Even if he were to sign to another team and the GM decides to keep him he's going to have to drop a really good player on a bryzgalov gamble. I wouldn't keep Bryz no matter what at this point.
Thanks for the input so far - kind of mixed reviews!

I would rather have Luongo than Kadri as a keeper, but I'm afraid that losing your 9th and 19th overall picks in the draft will set your team behind..
I think i would keep what you have.. the picks are too important for this coming year.
what other picks do you have in the first few rounds?

So you'd be without a 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th pick?? i think that would considerably cripple your team..
This is equal to having only 4 forwards and 2 defenseman after the first 10 rounds of a draft..
even though you would solidify your keepers better.. you pretty much have to give up on this upcoming season.. However, it all depends on how many players you must start (you said it was weekly setup right?).. if you only need to play 6 forwards per week it may not be that bad...
still, i dont like the fact that you miss so many early picks in your draft

We actually start 6 forward, 4 Defense, 2 Goalies weekly.
2 Forwards, 1 D-man, 1 Goalie on the bench.
This is our first year so I am not sure how important draft picks are. If I have a solid keeper core going into next year with no draft picks I wouldn't expect to win it all but the following year I would have a really good shot.

well that makes it much closer for me then...
only thing i would be worried about is potentially missing someone good in round 1 or 2 who could possibly be a keeper option for you next year..
depth is always good to have, allows you to make trades (like a 2 for 1 where you can upgrade a keeper) or in case of injuries..
i agree that your keepers will be better, but you wont be left with many options moving forward.. lots can happen in 1 year (look at luongo; had limited value just a couple months ago, now hes back as a starter on a strong team)..
try to get 1 of your picks removed from the trade.. but either way i wouldnt fault you for doing it.. tenders will probably be hard to come by
just make sure you do your research and maximize your remaining picks
