Paulino waiver claim?

Someone just dropped Paulino. Is he worth claiming (I have #3 waiver) in this league, keeping in mind the depth? Given my need for Ks he could be quite valuable if he continues being solid when he returns from the DL. If I were to claim, I'm not sure who I would drop. I have no bench hitters and my weaker SP are still decent in this league (except Ks), especially lately.

Since I have my DL slots full perhaps I should make a claim by dropping a setup man, likely Cishek, and then swap with Anderson who may or may not be solid when he returns from his long layoff. Then drop Anderson for another setup man to replace Cishek.

I'll need to make my decision by tomorrow. Thoughts?

Any thoughts please? I'm still having difficulty gauging his potential value post-DL, and whether it's worth using my high waiver on him. Thanks.

your league is deeper than mine, and i got paulino as FA about 2 weeks ago and have been impressed.

We have a 14-team league with 2sp, 2 rp, and 4 p.

Given that you have 4 sp and 2 p, and a 20-team league paulino should def be worth having on any team.

i can't imagine a much better player being dropped in such a deep league, so might want to use that waiver spot.

Thanks guys, the claim is in. I have a good shot at getting him as the #1 waiver team has been inactive lately and #2 has a solid pitching staff, so hopefully he won't bother. Will find out tomorrow.
