Well with 30 seconds to go the Hawks give up the 2-1 lead and thus lose out on the 5th seed to play Nash. We now fall to 6th seed and play Pacific winner.
Hawks will either win the 5th seed ( own tiebreaker vs Det) or the 6th seed.
So we either play Nashville or Pacifice division winner in Round 1.

Blackhawks vs Coyotes
Here we go folks! 'Yotes have a 3 -1 season series advantage over the Hawks and they are playing real strong hockey peaking at the right time. They are playing " scary" good.
Tippet and Q go way back as they were once teammates. Gets ready people, this one is gonna be good. Let's hope Mike Smith has aleady played his best hockey of the year and cools off in a hurry!

Still unsure about playing Thursday, but he's close to returning.
It appears that Toews WILL be ready for Game 1. Hell yeah!!

As not a surprise but its obvious Hossa is for sure ruled out for Game 5. Also Q may be leaning towards Emery as his starter, maybe gives the team a spark. I think he has to go to Emery IMO. It's do or die time, get the team energized ...let's go!!

Some bullet points from Bowman and Q on end of season presser.
-They expect Hossa 100% healthy by training camp.
-Kane will be 2nd line center 12-13'
-Not " ALL" players will return next seson (expect Brunette, Mayers, O'Donnell ) gone.
-Bowman said Q is basically responsible for any assistant coaching changes needed or not.
- " Special teams personel will be addressed"
- Benching Mayers was not a direct result of lack of response to Torres
-Defense and physicality will be targeted in free agency.
- Bowman does not anticipate trading any " core players"
-Bowman indicated overall goalie position was not very strong, Crawford has to be better. Q said basically the same thing.

Player exit interviews....
This Kane thing is extremely upsetting.
It's a long off season and who knows what the Hawks will do for sure. They may make a trade or sign for a 2nd line center and put Kane back at wing, maybe not. Ya never know. So give it time, let's see how this pans out. I still like Kane long term at Center or Wing regardless, so I would not worry about it, unless of course your in a league where you have C,W requirements.
I don't think Kane permanently moving to 2C will hurt him much. He'll still be playing with one of Sharp or Hossa, and he'll be playing on the 1st PP unit likely with both those players and Toews. Chicago runs their lines as 1A and 1B so it's not like Kane's gonna be cruising at 16 minutes per game, he'll still be around 19-20.

I hear ya guys, the sky isn't falling, but with my league settings (esp. face off wins/losses.. Kane sucks at faceoffs) positional requirements and limited number of keepers this could be the difference between keeper worthy and not.
I also traded for Kane specifically so he could help fill my (admittedly self imposed) keeper winger requirements.. ugh.
That said, I love his game. Hope he has a big year and starts really living up to his potential.
Baby steps but Hossa says he's starting to feel better and should be ready for start of the new season.
