    Default Should I start Rinne?

    Hello there Dobberites,
I've got a hella-tight playoff matchup that's gonna come down to the end. I've got 10 minutes to decide:
Should I start Rinne or not

    My current stats: 5W, 2.67 GAA, .915 Sv%, 0 SO
    My opponents stats: 4W, 2.70GAA, .909 Sv%, 1 SO

I won't go into detail about scoring, but right now it's very close, we both have 4 and 5 players left and it's tied up 3-3 scoring wise.

We both have one start left each, his start comes later which is a considerable advantage at this point:
    I have - Rinne @ Chicago
He has - Elliott @ Phoenix

If Rinne allows X amount of goals, my final GAA will result in Y (If he plays a full 60 minutes)
    0 goals = 2.35
    1 goal = 2.47
    2 goals = 2.59
    3 goals = 2.71
    4 goals = 2.82
    5 goals = 2.94

If Elliott allows X goals, his final GAA number will result in Y
    0 goals = 2.39
    1 goal = 2.51
    2 goals = 2.62
    3 goals = 2.73
    4 goals = 2.85
    5 goals = 2.96

Unless Rinne bombs, he'll be starting Elliot 100% to get a chance at wins. So I'm sacrificing my small lead (in GAA, and Sv%) to outright take wins, slightly improve my GAA / SV% and also have a shot at tying SOs.

So what do you think? I have a 10 minutes to make this decision. I'll crunch some more numbers now on the effects on his and my SV.% as well as his GAA depending on the goalies potential outcomes.

Default Extra stats (if you really wanna excersize your mind)

    Extra stats
Chicago hasn't played since Wednesday's big game against Vancouver - Toews and Keith are out.
Rinne just played a great game but slumped the previous two.
Elliott's coming off a shutout so I think that speaks volumes in rolling with him again.

    Last ten games:
    St. Louis = 6-2-4 / Phoenix = 4-2-4
    Nashville = 5-4-1 / Chicago = 8-1-1

    Stats from Daily Faceoff:
"In three career starts against the Coyotes, Elliott has a 2-1-0 record with a 2.36 GAA and .914 SV%."
"In four starts against the Blackhawks this season, Rinne has a 3-0-1 record with a 2.48 GAA and .912 SV%."
