Leddy has been doing fairly well I think, so I'd expect him to be the first to step up and get a boost.
Thinking since my D is lacking that I should grab eithier Leddy or Oduya. What are your guys' views on who gets the PP time?

Oduya has had more PP TOI than Leddy--sometimes by a lot--the last six games in a row.

Hard to argue against hard evidence based facts. Well done.
Last 10 games, also shows PP time Seabrook/Oduya 2.8% vs Seabrook/Leddy 1.7%
So yeah, when asked who gets PP time while Keith is gone..Oduya will get the nod. But will it translate to PP points? translate to fantasy wins? I guess we shall find out. PP points in the last 10 games or so. Oduya : 0. Leddy: 1. So, its anybody's game.
In short, my hunch is Leddy may get limited PP and/or ice time than Oduya. But im hopeful, Leddy will be more proficient than Oduya in producing the necessary points. And find better chemistry w/ Seabrook.
Im NOt knocking Oduya. I guess im just a fan of Leddy and hopeful he gets the nod.
But yeah, good points by Gotlaid.

Only thing that I would add is that Keith also only had 2 PPP during the last 10 games as well, so Leddy having 1, and Oduya having 0, I don't think is a strong argument.
The Hawks PP is very forward heavy meaning everything happens down low with the forwards. Of the 117 PPP that the Hawks have tallied, only 33 of them have come from the back end (28.2%), so the D aren't really involved on the PP to begin with.
The thing for me is opportunity to produce. At the end of the day you can't pick up PP if you aren't on the ice. Over the last 2 weeks, Oduya has had almost over 3 times the PP TOI than Leddy, so the opportunity is definitely there. It might not have translated on the scoresheet yet, but with Keith out of the way now, Oduya essentially claims his "number 1" spot.
Leddy should claim some of that residual time left by Keith, but I think it'll primarily go to Oduya.
Either way we'll see tomorrow.

Oduya: 5 Gms 0 pts -3 (+/-) 0 PPP 9 SOGs 0 PIMs
Leddy: 5 Gms 5pts -1 (+/1) 1 PPP 4 SOGs 0 PIMs
Bleh..neither produced significantly on the PP.
But Leddy held his own. I stand by my hunch that he'd produce the points. Fairly close. Oduya certainly got the SOGs in.
Ah well..glad to have Keith back for the last week.
