Kovy for Howard or Karlsson? *REPs

Im short 11 games played at G going down the stretch. Also short 11 at LW.

Im shopping for a top D were I am over 7+ games. So I can clear some of the wishful thinking guys holding spots. Souray, Kubina, Zidlicky. Also need to drop to activate RNH so I could try and push a combo 2>1. Ive been offering RNH+ for all the top D guys getting turned down. One year lagues drive me bonkers, with guys acting like they are keepers.

Todays offers. Howard for Kovy and E Karlsson for Kovy.

Open to shipping Carter, Kovy, RNH+, Rask+, Montoya+ Vrbata for a LW also if ther is a good vaule guy I should target heading down the stretch.

Should I take the Karlsson deal and try and get another LW for Carter or RNH+

Or take the Howard deal so I dont leave games on the table. I have placed 2nd in this money league 2 years in a row due to leaving G games on the table unplayed.

Guys openly available are Eriksson, Elias. I need +-, G, GWG, PPG, PM Goalies are non existant in this league. My 6 cant even fill a 2g bag limit.

I would lean toward Karlsson. They are right in that Eastern Conference chunk of teams and only a few back of BOS and he is on fire. With good news on Anderson I say you do not have to worry about +/_ too much and he will be back for playoff time so that is when you need best performance most.

I see no reason why you wouldn't ship Kovy, grab Louie E, then drop say Kubina and activate the NUGE! Think 5 D in a 4 D spot league is plenty.

I also would think of waiting til Monday to see if the likes of Souray or Ribeiro are dealt. May get more value for a deal with them and not have to ship Kovy. Just a thought!
