So I know he played in WJC and some say he played well except that last game. So the question is how good are people thinking with this kid in the future? I really know next to nothing, but saw one analyst rank him high in the first round.

I don't like him as much as I did Jack Campbell at this same stage in their development but Campbell has slowed in his progression so who really knows.

One thing I will say is that there are other goalies who can be as good or better than Vasilevski in this draft but won't receive nearly the same amount of hype. The big thing is to see where he gets drafted and then do whatever Justin Goldman tells you to do.

It's really difficult to tell how good he will be. He's a fine prospect but the problem with evaluating goalies is that the real story is told 3-4 years after draft day. I certainly don't recommend 18 year old goalies for keeper/dynasty leagues though unless we stumble upon another Luongo or Price. I don't think Vasilevski is at that level.

Good to know! I was hoping to hear something from Justin about him. I'm just fascinated with goaltending, especially because I played a bit as a young kid. Loved it. I was an idiot for quitting that. It was the best.
