You might want to watch a few of Giroux's games first, and then give the man his due, because he's been by far the MOST DOMINANT player on the ice this season. Doesn't matter who's in or who's out, Pronger, Jagr, Hartnell, JVR, Simmonds... the man just produces and makes anyone who's on his wing look good.
Would not surprise me at all if he hits 100 THIS YEAR. if the Hart were handed out today, Giroux would have my vote no doubt, and the only person who could legitimately challenge that claim would be Kessel. Flyers are the highest scoring team in the league, and they've only got one legit superstar, which says a lot about his domination.
I'm not so sure about 100+ this year for Giroux, but he is currently on pace for 103 points... I would definitely expect 90+ at this point, though. Seems like a pretty reasonable expectation going forward. You are right, when you watch this kid play you just see the talent and vision oozing out of him. Legit superstar status at this point for Claude Giroux.
