Karlsson for Doughty
Well I just pulled the trigger on a trade that I was just offered.

Drew Doughty
It hurts to give up Karlsson given the great start he's had but I think it's worth it to get Doughty. What do you guys think?

I was just about to post something similar. Except, I have Doughty and looking to move him for Karlsson. I guess it comes down to preference and style of play. Both are pp qb's and elite Dmen. The obvious for this year is Karlsson > Doughty. But I think once Doughty gets into a groove, they'll even out eventually. Both capable of 50pts in their young careers.

To be honest, in a keeper today, I'd take Karlsson over Doughty. I'm sure most people here disagree.

Once Doughty gets back on track you'll be fine. Most years their points will be close and Doughty will fare better with PIM, +/- and will probably score a few more goals. In straight points I might have kept Karlsson but in your format it will be a good trade in the long run.

I totally agree with you on this one. I am one of the Doughty doubters on here on these forums. Dont get me wrong, he is a good young defenceman in the league, but not the "be-all, end-all" most take him to be. karlsson looks like a monster.Originally Posted by blayze
