I am unexpectedly competitive in my league this season. Currently in first.
I have just been offered Ribeiro for my Oshie
I'd actually offered the GM this exact trade about a month ago. It seemed like a no-brainer back then. Now, with Ribeiro struggling and Oshie heating things up a bit, I'm starting to have second doubts.
Would you do this? Will Ribs outpoint Oshie this year? Can he still notch 70+ for the next few?
Thanks as always.

Thank you mounD.
Anyone else have a different opinion? Is it it that clear cut?
I have a hard time letting go of Oshie, who seems to be finding his way. And I'm a bit concerned about Ribeiro getting his groove back.
I guess I'm looking for a bit of a nudge, to help me pull the trigger.
REP for any help on this one.
I owned both this year but traded Ribeiro away (as he became expendable).
I personally would hold onto Oshie. I know I'm not alone when I say he's one of if not the most talented Blues forward, he just needs to find his potential. Hitchcock is playing him ALOT and he's finding time on the first PP unit. Had 4 shots last night and was dangerous.
Yes he is streaky, but at least for me, I'm holding on to him.
keep Ribero! he'll pick it back up

It's not that I don't like Oshie or anything, but Ribeiro has a much better track record for point production. Oshie's value is in multi-cat, and you can't really expect any more than ~60 points for him, or any other Blues forward. It's not like Oshie is a developing prospect or anything, he's 25 years old. He could be a late bloomer, and it's possible for him to outscore Ribeiro, but I think the only way that would happen is if Oshie achieved his upper-limit [60+] and Ribeiro would have to be at or near the low-end of his production spectrum. I just don't think that's a risk I would want to take.

I actually pulled the trigger yesterday morning.
Sent Oshie and a 2nd for Ribeiro and a 3rd.
I think I have a shot at winning this year, and figured Ribeiro would help more.
I've now sent off two of my favourite young players (E. kane and Oshie) but got Getzlaf and Ribeiro back in those deals.
As much as I like exciting young players, I just felt my team needed some proven talent to balance things out.
Thanks for the responses.
