    Default Hot hand or stud?

Ride the hot hand in Schneider or go with my stud in Rinne?

I would suit up Rinne whenever he plays. He's your big-time goalie stud, and you draft those guys for a reason...

This is one of those very rare situations where I would bench the stud.

130+ consecutive minutes of shutout hockey doesn't lie.

That and I don't like facing the red-hot wings right now. They have looked very good recently and J-Ho is playing amazing.

I am way more afraid of the Sharks than I am of the Red Wings. Also look at Rinne's career numbers vs. the Wings:

    8-2-3, 2.12 GAA, .938 Sv%, 3 SO

    Play the stud.

I would start the guy who has lost his last 6 starts - must be due huh? Ignore those shutouts of Schneiders.

I dunno - these are tough calls - I think Metaldude has a good point, but if you flip the argument to who do you fear more the Preds or the Canucks - I think it offsets.

Huh? Rinne hasn't lost his last six starts, he's lost his last three.

In any case though, Rinne is a must-start for me along with Lundqvist. I would start him over Schneider.

Sigh... this is what happens when you don't listen to blayze.

It's ok... rookie mistake... in time you'll learn that I'm always right

I think the better advice would just be to take B0ndon's goalie recommendation, and do the exact opposite. That usually works out in your favor, although your advice could be a close second in this case.

Yeah once B0ndon chimed in, I knew it was a lock that I would be wining this debate. Unfortunately by the time he made his prophecy, the puck had just dropped and it was too late to get in on any action.

B0n - next time please be more considerate and make your bold predictions sooner so we have ample time to bet accordingly. Thanks.
