So it was Lupul and Gardiner for Beauchemin, right?

    Damn great deal now, eh?

Is Gardiner gonna go at this torrid pace all season??? I drafted him w/the intent of sittin on him for a year, but if he keeps this pace up I may have to rethink his status.

He's getting playing time and all opportunity to succeed. I expect him to have a very nice rookie year.

    Nice intuition

A lot has changed with the leafs this year - the one thing that remains constant is komisarek still blows.

Well, as of my limited viewings, he's better then another defenceman.

    Schenn.

As much as it pains me to say it... Komi's outplaying Schenn this year.

If Riemer is going to be out long term we need a goalie!! Maybe a vet that could then turn into a very solid backup? Maybe a guy like Nabby?? There are some decent options out there and I dont think we need a starter becuase I think Riem's is the real deal I just think that we need someone better than Gustavsson he is not an NHL goalie in my mind......maybe we roll with Scrivens for a few games and see what he can offer?? Please Optimus we need you back!!!

Sorry for my absence guys, really busy time for me.

Anyways, I just have to say this: That win tonight was pathetic in every way.

I seriously hope Scrivens gets treated to a nice steak/lobster/caviar dinner. Whatever he desires. Single-handedly saved our asses.

-Kessel and Lupul created a lot of scoring chances and looked good throughout.
-Bozak got his first of the year
-Schenn had a good game and a few scoring chances.
-Phaneuf had some great chances as well, but got caught deep on one of the goals.

No surprises here-Dupuis took a horrible penalty that created a 5-3 and pretty much energized the Sens, seriously send Dupuis down... And the special teams were absolutely atrocious, 0-5 on the PP.

-2 empty net goals, Macarthur scored one on a bad pass into our own net.
