What\'s the consensus \"take\" on this guy. Is he a bona fide number one goalie in this league. Or is he another one season wonder. He\'s sure played well lately. I guess I just want to know if this guy is the real deal.

I\'d say on this up and coming team he is a #1 and should put up a lot of wins in the future.

Agreed. The \'Yotes are on the rise, and Bryzgalov will be their #1 for the foreseeable future.

I think VERY highly of him. He seems to have a solid presence in net, and the fact that PHX started to look like an actual NHL team when he arrived speaks volumes about Bryz.

Unfortunately, I traded him just a few days ago. I gave up Bryz, Weber, Forsberg, and Selanne for a 2nd round next year and a 1st round in \'09 (Taveres???...please???). I couldn\'t keep any of the players I traded, except Bryz), but with Luongo and Nabokov (and Price!), there was no way I could keep him...and he\'d go before he got back to me in the draft next year.

I figured, I might as well get something good for him. I think he\'s golden, and my track record on goaltenders is great (at least I think it is!). I\'m going to try and steal him back next year...but I don\'t think it\'ll be possible.

He\'ll do well going forward, especially on a solid young phoenix team. If it\'s a question of keeping him or not, do what you can, next year it might be difficult to grab him!

My opinion: Top-12 goalie and 35 wins for the years to come.
No wonder why PHX are 9th in the NHL for goals against. Bryzzer would be an all-star if PHX would start scoring more goals!

I also think highly of him. While watching few highlights, you see that the guy is the real deal. Also, having an healthy Jovanovski in front of him helps a lot.

I think he\'s more valuable than Vokoun: less injury-prone because of his stand-up style. He also plays on a better team with more upside.
